Master cartoonist, Jack Davis, teams up with compiler, Hank Harrison and reveals a great deal of unpublished artwork and rare gems from his personal archives. Included here are some of Jacks spontaneous creations, some in the pencil stages as well as finished pieces. The subject matter runs the gamut from advertising to celebrity illustrations. Davis is a legend in cartooning, not only with Mad Magazine where he was one of the founding contributors but also in comics and many other magazines and his artwork is often found in advertising, magazines, film posters, and more.About the Author:Jack Davis is known for his advertising art, magazine covers, film posters, record album art, and numerous comic book stories from EC, Atlas, and others. He was one of the founding contributors for Mad Magazine and contributed to that for decades. He also appeared in all of the issues of Panic and some of Cracked as well as Trump, Humbug, and Help! Davis has been inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fall, received the National Cartoonists Society Lifetime Achievement Award, the National Cartoonists Societys Advertising Award, and was the winner of the Reuben Award (Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year).
